Is it supposed to be slashing or piercing in classic? Read that it was supposed to drop near spectres, but it dropped way down by shore. That correct? Thanks again.

I've tried several times so far, giving her the potion, not giving her the potion. She just doesn't budge. No shouts of marr no nothin. I believe she may be bugged until she's reset, perhaps why it works for some and not others?

I don't know. Find some details about the piercing etc.

As far as where she drops it.. its dependent on where she is standing at the time. If you drag her away somewhere, after enough time passes, she will drop the harpoon there.

I just tried this quest.. worked fine.

Are you sure you did the full potion of marr quest?

Thanks. You were right, empty potion! Trying now, still unsure weather or not to physically give Xyrinn the full potion.

Quest works. Sorry for the confusion. Be sure to turn in the empty potion alphabetically, get the full potion, and turn it in to xyrinn after triggering her. May want to make sure the spectres are despawned. Good luck, others.

Having a weird issue with this quest right now on Red99.

Got the Potion of Marr from Freeport.

Headed to OOT and spoke to Styria Fernon spawning Sentry Xyrinn on the Garg/Spec isle.

One person would take the spectres away and the one doing the turn in would hand in the potion and follow her.

She would get up to the Spectres, path through the middle, and then despawn on the other side with no emote and without dropping the harpoon.

Tried this three separate times, same result each time. Could it be a problem where she might have to attack something?
