![]() Hey folks,
just found a sure fire way of getting the spell effects to work properly with Titanium EQ. (i tried the method multiple times to verify) First: install Titanium to whatever directory you want. Second: after installation, create a folder elsewhere for Eq files backup (Or a name of your choosing) Third: move the *** arena.epq , arena_Environmentemitters , Nektulos.epq , nektulos_Environmentemitters , lavastorm.epq *** to the newly created folder. ^^^note: If you want classic midi music for combat; death and loading theme just move the: combattheme1.mp3 , combattheme2.mp3 , deaththeme.mp3 , eqtheme.mp3 .^^^ into the new folder also. Fourth: Download the Eqemulauncher from HTML Code:
http://moestaverne.com/ If you like the velious UI better than new, check the getting started guide on the homepage of this site to download the veliousUI. once the file is downloaded, create a new folder in the uifiles directory within your Everquest directory and name it Velious. Extract downloaded UI files into this folder. Finally run the launcher, let it update to the new 1.24 version, restart the launcher and it should check and download all the new files required for the EqEmu server as well as change the host file information to be correct. ### Additonally if you want the velious UI loaded, while in game type the command: /loadskin Velious ### For those who dont like windowed mode, you simply need to change your Eqclient settings (it should be a file within the everquest Directory) open it with notepad, scroll towards the bottom until you see something as follows: windowedmode=TRUE Change that to FALSE, so it should look like -> windowedmode=FALSE Scroll down further and you should see in the video mode fields for Width and Height, type in what resolution you want to use in those fields. Example: width=1680 height=1050 I hope this helps anyone having spell effect issues and also can help them with any Windowed mode problems. Cheers! - Spike | ||

![]() Apparently it's legit, supported, and updated by the p99 staff - yet not hosted on the p99 domain. My mistake, I must have been trolling because nobody is legitimately skeptical of downloading things from a forum by a member with 1 post.

![]() The eqemu downloader is legit, supported, and updated by the p99 staff. If you dont know what youre talking about, take the trolling elsewhere.
