Horizontal lines through chat (FIX)

Ive been noticing a few posts here and there about people having chat distorted or cut off by seemingly invisible horizontal lines running through chat bars. Instead of moving around the chat box so that the distortion effect is minimized, I seem to have stumbled across a fix while toying with my graphics settings.

Solution

Options -> display -> video modes.

Once you get here, do NOT change your resolution to anything else. Simply hit the "accept" button, and then the yes option when the little box pops up. The screen will flicker, and this seems to re-align everything, and removes those pesky lines.
