IRC for Red99?

i recall reading something earlier about checking up on an IRC for updates as to when the server will launch, etc.

i just downloaded mIRC for the first time (late to the game) and am wondering if anyone has the irc channel that i saw earlier...?


/brand new to whatever irc is, hope this makes sense.

set your server to irc.eqemulator.net, and put the port as 6667 (should be default.)
Once you've connected to the irc main server, type /nick <your name> and then /join one of the channels. Remember, you need the hashtag

I use pidgen instead of mirc so connecting to the server may be different.

#red99 is the pvp exclusive IRC, #project1999 has both blue and red players
