Depends on what you're raging, obviously. Most of the best early Rages (Anguiform, Rider, etc) have both physical and magic based attacks, so you may want to go for a hybrid setup (later end gear is nice for this, like the Sensei Armor and Hero Ring). Usually the magic-based attack is best so you may put a preference on magic power and earrings, especially if you're hitting a weakness.

If you're using something like Over-Mind then you can just pump up his defense as you're just relying on petrification.

I haven't found any armor he can use that defends worth a damn so it's been all-out MPower for now. Using Rhinotaur rage a lot in the Magitek facility for dat GigaVolt, it's been handy. I didn't go back and get his Serpent Trench monster rages, would be nice to have Anguiform.

I was grinding up exp for endgame, and realized I got edgar to 55 without getting bonus stats from esper levels.
I saved so many times. Looks like someone is voted out of my Kefka's tower team.

I've been following the level tiers in the readme for the most part.
Uhm. it's pretty random, and your guys can block the move.

You go back to the world map if you get killed with only part of your party absorbed, and I feel you can't leave dead people either.

Try this setup:

Locke w/ Genji Glove, Tempest, Revenger, Providence + whatever can boost his magic power.

That's by far my most powerful setup atm.

Talked to all 24 soldiers, killed the Special Forces in under 2 minutes, answered all the questions right, and I still didn't get the best reward from the banquet. What the hell?

You fucked something up. There's 93 possible points and you need 90-93 to get all the rewards. The only thing you can skimp on is not talking to 3 soldiers, which doesn't include the ones you have to fight (since they're worth 5 points).

Btw, best way to grind in WoR imo is just inside a Zozo building, considering you can just mindlessly hold down auto attack and level up to 40 or so fairly quickly if you only bring 1 character. This allows for Esper optimization too, for the cases when 3-4 characters are about to level and you don't have enough +2 Magic Power espers. You'll also have a pretty good bankroll once you get all characters up to 40 (excluding Umaro since it doesn't matter what level you recruit him at since he can't equip espers, and Tritoch is pretty damn hard).

I definitely got em all. Although I finished the fight with the last one right as the clock hit 0, so maybe it didn't count it for me. I'll try and make it a second faster.

You have to exit the fight for it to count, otherwise you'll only get the 1 point for talking but not the 5 for winning the fight.

Also remember to ask each question, and only once. You get points deducted for repeating. And obviously you gain points for recalling the question you asked first.

The banquet was such a cool part of this game, and the hack really makes you work to get all the rewards. Even if the Charm Bangle & Magicrest are both kinda shitty.
