Wow, glad i found this. Did not know about the problem. I added some nodes in the water and on the hill. Mobs here now path smoothly to the hill top and even into the spelunker room. Thank you for the detailed post as to where it happened. I was able to go right to the spot and pull some trash and it did just as you said.
