Its not the swearing that I have an issue with. Its bashing people and being negative just to make you feel like a tough guy online and make up for whatever is lacking in your real life. (I.E. your above post)
Considering EQ is over ten years old now Im assuming most players did in fact play classic and are a little older than most gaming circles. So to answer your question yes I would expect a more mature community.
Not that its your business but Im actually a 27 year old man who lives with his girlfriend and child. (Not in a basement and not with mom) I played Rallos Zek classic but was young/noob and never even reached max level. I have not only played competitive games but Ive actually been to LAN Tournaments (GXL 256 man LAN) and my team won first place in both COD / Quake 3. Also played football and basketball in my high school days and still enjoy a lil pickup basketball when I find the time.
