Difference in Classic Live *Rare* drops

maybe have something to do with everything being perma camped on here? if it's being killed every PH then it is more likely to appear

Tranquil Staff dropped maybe once a month on live. Here it is about one a day.

Wu's Trance sticks used to be rare as fuck. Probably also around one a month. Here there are several that drop each day.

Many drop rates suck ass on this server. I don't know what you expect on an emulated server. If you have proof that something is wrong post it in bugs, wait 6 months and it may get fixed.

While you're correct about Tstaves, you couldn't be more INCORRECT about Trance Stix.

Trance stix were uber common on live -- with yard trash xp grinds in COM usually netting the group one or two of them.

I have easily put in 100 to 200 hours in CoM in my prior 12 years in the game. I have never once seen a trance stick drop on Prexus or FV.

Trance sticks from CoM yard trash? I'm gonna agree with Asher here, never saw them drop grinding xp on Rallos Zek , nor more recently farming epic drops in CoM on Al'kabor.

If tranquil staves are droping once a day on p99.... and Melodious Truncheons are so common they are being sold... hmmm.

(and what drops did the EQlive devs "make more common in kunark" recently on the progression servers? Some of them had to have been almost non existant rare for them to bother making a change like that.... ultra rare like classic tranqil staves/trance sticks/crap from Howling stones).

They are just doing their best with the information they have and this is a free server.

I am hoping that once we have a polished server they will consider a re-release of p99.

If you seriously think it's accurate that Al'Kabor has not one Melodius Truncheon after several years of the server being up, well you're just silly.

Its because hardly anyone goes to Howling Stones (server released with the first five expansions out at once, so there was no "kunark era" with people crowding the kunark dungeons, and howling stones has a very anoying no rent key system) + the Melodious Truncheon being the ultra rarest of three drops off a rare mob = not silly.

I dont think a single "Bam Stick" exists on the server either, guess thats silly too. List goes on.
