Dwarves are the ugliest and worst race in the game. Short and stout with too much facial hair is a terrible combination. Ogres and trolls are almost as bad. Barbarians do look pretty gross, but of those four they are clearly the best. Barbarians also have a very slight exp penalty, that I think is more than compensated for by the warrior exp bonus. Plus slam.

Why limit yourself to these poor choices? Gnomes and wood elves make excellent warriors.

Weapon skills, use whatever weapon you have that is best, as a previous poster said.

And duo partner? Shaman probably the best here, with slows, hastes and uber melee buffs. Druids do have a huge advantage with their ports, but as far as actually performing they fall behind clerics and shaman due to no slow, and poorer heals than cleric. Though I suppose a druid could keep something rooted to give them time to med/heal up? Cleric is a good choice, with the warrior having so many hp and the NPCs beating on them, cleric is going to be needed in the later levels if no slows are available.

Monks have better utility. I guess anyone has better utility than warriors, but mend is nice and feign death can be hugely important in dungeon PvP. You don't want to train someone, but... accidents happen, right? And if you get trained or mobs randomly add during PvP, being able to feign them off is a winning card all by itself. The only problem with monks is they don't have much gear before Kunark, and that'll make it really hard to get decent resists. You basically won't get 100MR until you can get your hands on jacinth rings and Tranix crown, and that's some pretty high-end shit pre-Kunark. Planar gear and that no-drop 10MR monk mask from Kedge makes everything a bit better, but the common player won't get any of this very easily.

Go ogre warrior for best stats. If you refuse to look like an enormous baby in a diaper, go barbarian - frontal stun immunity is fairly inconsequential to a warrior, you can't cast spells anyway. Trolls get -20FR while barbarians get +10CR, and that's a pretty big deal. Regen is overrated on a class that can't solo anyway, and a difference of 30 points of important resists is huge in classic. The key factor is slam, so don't make a dwarf warrior. You'll gimp yourself out of the most important PvP ability you can have on a warrior.

sigh, i really was hoping you were trolling and not actually that stupid. Frontal stun is important for all classes especially warriors. It has been proven time and time again. However you have obviously never done any pvp'ing (which is fine), but when you are jousting/mass pvp'ing and someone is unable to immobilize you it pretty much makes it the most op racial ability.

Don't worry if you play you will see the difference in the first mass pvp

Yeah. The half-second stun from bash, which is why it's only crucial for classes that can cast spells. It seems our dear Aerist has no idea what he's talking about and is compensating for this by lacing his inane failure of a post with insults. I regret to inform him that he is an idiot. Nobody will listen to some assclown who thinks frontal stun immunity is more important to warriors than to anyone else.

yeah you're right I am wrong, sorry to have bothered you. Frontal stun for a warrior is pointless, how could I have ever been so naive

Soft feel free to roll a gnome warrior they are the best
