Barbs aren't really blind on P99, and they don't look like ghey midgets... Its not hard to get light emitting items anyways. Being large isn't a huge deal with the illusion masks, and shrink pots.

I mean, any alternatives for wrist items to get, since dwarves can't use hero bracer [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Kind of enjoying dwarf so far, don't really want to switch race just for the bracer. Still considering barb, but dunno yet.

Don't ever consider a race because of one piece of armor that you will replace at some point. Even race/diety specific quests aren't worth staring at yourself in the mirror everytime you play and think, "why this ugly thing?"
