I really dislike beer but I would honestly like to change that. I am a big rum drinker.

Brother in law has suggested Stella Artois, any opinions?

As far as rum goes : check out "Sailor Jerry's" ...it's awesome.

One of my favorites:

I have to go accross state lines for this beer. One of my favorites amongst many.

Local brew here that I enjoy:

And just about anything from Shiner!

Got my list of supplies to home brew - just gotta stop being lazy and get on it soon.

99 cherries is hardly "girly drink"

i prefer liquor to beer also. mainly whiskey, jameson.

about disliking beer i think the more you drink it the better its gonna taste, basically

ive drank more keystone than anyone probably should. but as far as what i like japanese beers are good. ichiban and sapporo.

and if anyone here is from utah they know about the great wasatch, squatters, moab breweries out here.

I'm glad a few of you posted beers that aren't found at every gas station, for those of you who did, find your local brewery.

Sailor Jerry = win, have a Sea Monster (Sailor shot dropped into monster, like a jaeger bomb).

Chimay is very, very good, but i haven't seen the one posted in the picture before.

If you are ever in Denver or Boulder visit the Mountain Sun/Souther Sun (in Boulder) or Vine Street Pub (In Denver). Generally about 12 local brewed beers on tap, best beer I've ever had by a long, long, long shot.

They have 3 labels of their beer. All are just as good!

They make cheese too [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I had the cheese a few months ago, expensive but delicious. I was in Beaver Creek the other day and I had a Chimay for 14$ =(. 10.5oz or whatever bottles they have.

left coast brewery makes a couple of good pints, Hop Juice is good if you like stronger tasting drinks, and their Asylum is apparently excellent, but I have been unable to get a hold of any myself.

this beer kicked my ass and I loved every minute of it.

As for a beginners beer, I would suggest New Castle brown ale... it tastes good at room temperature or cold and is easy as hell to find.
