There'll be lots of people starting from scratch, but also hundreds of people from p99 using their transfered chars. And you can bet people are already stocking up on shit they want to transfer specifically to use it in the beta.

Stripped my 50 warrior/mage so not going back to gear them up..
but i did liquidate and have a twink lowbie druid/necro/rogue i will prolly transfer over to play lol

I understand why transfers are happening (Testing right away without waiting for people to reach those levels)

Just is going to suck hiding from all the meta-twinks that are going to be reeking havoc on new characters.

But melee weapons are gonna be the biggest problem if they let Kunark gear transfer.

IMO they can let people transfer with as much shit as they want, the more the merrier so we can test resists right away, but just have a bit of code that erases all Kunark items in the transfer process if that's at all possible.

the 10x modifier will be nice for twinks that want to level up ASAP, then they dont need to farm stuffs...just go go go

but yea, flip side to that is...
twink battles in every zone and new chars will be naked on every level

it didnt say... im assuming copies like they did for kunark beta = gear
