everquest isn't hard actually, he's right.

it's more gear based than any other pvp mmo, and having those utilities available.

also, it's a numbers game in any situation. I don't think anyone is going to fight fair in pvp to begin with unless it was forced upon them. that being said, massive zerg vs zerg looks fun.

also rogean and I are masters at pvp. we did a 2 versus 365 and won.
Best recent example of why that's not really the case on emu:

Titanuk's naked druid, some guild portbot druid, and my main character (druid) held 24 people from doing vox for 3 hours until we were able to muster 12 players to the permafrost zoneline.

We stalemated fighting them between zones for awhile until the GM in the zone forced us to either fight (roughly 12 vs 25 at the time) or leave.

Led by Player "X", we won that fight (30 minutes of continuous fighting, against equally geared, leveled, and "skilled" players; apparently not!) and enjoyed Vox-breast for dinner.

I could go on explaining why the same dozen people have won every iteration of PVP servers on Emu for the past 2-3 years as well. Everyone knows how to cast ice comet on a wizard at level 50, but there's a big skill disparity between those who know what to do with their class in every situation, how to fight as a group, and EQ or Emu related tricks that get magnified with all else equal

At least... that's what I teach my guys on the court.
