If we exclude actual raid gear like dragon/planar shit, as well as diamond jewelry because it'll be a while before this becomes available to the common player (which the poster must be assumed to be):

2x Earring of Magic Resistance
White Gold Necklace
Split Paw Hide Mask
Skull-shaped Barbute
2x Wolf's Eye Golden Bracelet
Bloodstained Mantle
Dwarven Ringmail Tunic (usable by all cleric races except like human/erudite or something)
Scepter of Flame
Mistmoore shield

If rich/lucky/good crew, throw in Mithril arms/legs and Tranix crown

100ish MR, 120ish with the fire giant lewts.

Add 55/5 rings and HBC and you have a pretty tanky cleric. Int casters have a hard time getting high resists because they can't wear pretty much any of the gear except jewelry, so they can be nuked down handily. Melees are a bit tricky, but you can probably outlast anything except an SK or a good warrior.

Once people get the sweet gear and 150+ MR becomes the norm, cleric offense becomes mostly useless except for trying to stun people in group PvP for the 10% chance it has of landing. Until then, clerics are pretty mad.

tranix crown + 20 mr
(this gear + 25 natural mr makes 55 mr. higher than your 46)
bloodstained mantle + 10 mr
resist magic (cleric spell) + 40 mr
(this totaling you at 105 MR. with only 3 MR pieces. the list goes on too, you can have a ton of MR as a cleric)
White gold necklace + 7 mr

Bite me, it was not a knowledge competition. I just wanted peoples ideas. And I was not asking what you could get MR up to, even a moron like yourself knows clerics can MR buff, we were talking about gear.

and the under 46... I was referring to stuff you can get pre planar you dumb ass. I think everyone else understood that.
