You just deleted the wsock32 in your system directory.

Haha!, remember we are talking about everquest not your OS.

on a side note, make sure you have everquest completly closed before you try deleting the two files. I had left it running so I could double check with the message and make sure I deleted the right files, but it kept giving me a permissions error untill I closed EQ down.
