I'm a big fan of some of the European bikes. Once I graduate I'm thinking of getting like a 60s or 70s triumph bonneville. Crotch rockets are cool too - but having laid one down before (a GXSR750), I don't trust myself to drive one responsibly.
But ya, the British style 60s and 70s bikes are really cool imo.

the only rule is; if you ride, you will crash. so dress for the crash, not for the ride. sweat wipes off, road rash doesnt.

I just got my (first) bike last spring, and I love it. I ride it almost every day!
[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I want to upgrade to a vStar 1100 eventually, but so far, my lil' Honda is treating me great (and gets almost 50mpg).

Anything besides plastic rockets is utter faggotry.
LOOK AT THAT FACE! JUST LOOK AT IT! This be sportbikes at their prime, before they got all soft and flimsy. The Kawa ZX7R. But you gotta promise not to get one, cause I wouldn't wanna ride the same bike as you.

I'd get a cheapo 600cc Japanese bike. The 900+cc ones just have worse handling and gas mileage, besides you will probably never ever run out of speed on a 600 anyway - unless you just need to go 200MPH and die.

lots of retards in this thread.
get a SV650 or something similar, buying a 600 or literbike as your first bike is fucking dumb and a recipe for disaster
