NPR is pretty non biased, they have a liberal undertone but the reporting is awesome. al jazeera is great for things most American outlets won't/can't report on Democracy Now is definitely left leaning but they report on things no one else will period.

I use Fox News the way I use a whole host of outlets - You can use many of them to create kind of a composite view of some political issue. Fox has a few decent interviewers, and even though I disagree with him a lot, Krauthammer is enjoyable to listen to. Al-Jazeera is one of the worst for inherent bias, but I do enjoy some of the things they choose to cover, so I def agree there [You must be logged in to view images. I've evaluated their reporting alongside cbs/abc/etc for some time, and It's usually about the same. Yeah, Foxnews has published at least one web article from the Onion - that's why I don't put my trust in any one source [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Same can be said about MSNBC though, Rachel Maddow slamming republicans every time republicans are slamming liberals and so on and so forth... Moral of the story? Look in many places for your info otherwise you're going to become a moron. You have to actively search for the information and educate yourself, no one else is going to do it for you.
