Are you just complaining without actually looking at the dungeons or, better yet, visiting them in person?

That person is correct. None of the dungeons in M&M are particularly interesting. They all have the same looking walls and dimensions. Bland, spacious corridors and a lack of personality. Classic EQ dungeons are more claustrophobic, mystical, and horrific. And course M&M is copying the same tired static NPC design, instead of doing something more interesting after 27 years. They want people to sit and camp single NPC's in one spot all day long. Literally the thing the EQ designers didn't want, but weren't able to forsee with how they built the game, since they were creating an entirely new genre and didn't know any better.
The higher technical scope of the game does allow M&M to have bigger city designs and further vistas than EQ. That has some appeal, but the world design could be better, and run speed is also atrocious in the game. So much tedious running back and forth.
