Another 2-3 months and M&M will be due to release. Then you've got GTA6 right after that. P99 is going to have a rough Q3/Q4 2026.

I'm not saying that there are zero P99 players who would play GTA6, but I think the large majority won't play it at all. I certainly think they would play a brand new P99 server over a video game that's not going anywhere and will be there whenever they want to play it (if they wanted to).

GTA are day 1 buys for me, always have been, always will.

And obviously I love P99.

I don't think it would ever get in the way of me playing everquest though.

TBH this one i actually might skip for the first time. Of all the story scenarios, this one seems like the least interesting to me. Like do I really need to hear the same 10,000,000th joke about floridaman? No. I don't.

Oh I don't mean to make it sound like the game will be unpopular overall. It's going to be a massive success.

I just don't think it would have any impact on server population if P99 somehow launched a new server this fall. You'd still likely have 1,800 - 2,200 people on the server.
