1789, when the Articles of Confederation were replaced by the document that laid the groundwork for the bloated federal monstrosity we live under today.

Personally I don’t take the bus, but if I did, I would feel obligated to piss somewhere in it a little bit. Just to keep the vibe

Shit kinda went down at the grocery store tonight at 10pm

I was getting a small amount of groceries, mostly cat food, when I see this really sketchy looking white guy walking around with a backpack. Greasy hair, looks like a methhead, and obviously backpacks aren’t allowed. I thought oh that dude is here to steal

I forgot about it as I shopped until I heard a brave employee yelling put it back, I saw you take it! The thief wasn’t obliging, was just power walking to the entrance while the employee loudly said “get out!” Over and over following him only like 2 paces behind

I put my groceries down and followed them both pacing them about 6 paces behind and down an isle where neither could see me but I could see them. The thief wasn’t imposing at all, maybe 5’6 and like 140lbs, kind of a little guy. I was going to see what would happen if he woulda done something wild like throw hands, and I would have no problem jumping in assuming I didn’t see a knife or gun come out. Can’t let my community become a crime ridden shithole, it’s almost worth getting stabbed over

Luckily though, the little bastard just dipped with whatever small thing he could get. The employee told me he’s seen the same thief multiple times [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Safeway location I like the most just had one of their workers get assault charges for crashing one of the scooters into an old guy who was shoplifting and whooping his ass with a stick.

Imagine waking up in Val Hala

Dane predecessors be like: what was your battle saga, brother?

Dead colonial mudblood: having defended a company which puts greater value on their stock than their workers lives.

Even when I was working retail at 17 wayy back in the day, we still had to sign something saying if we touched a thief we would be fired on the spot

The employee last night said he was only going to attempt to grab the backpack or the item but couldn’t get it, which lines up with probably being under the same contract

And of course I thought that I could have done that, grabbed the backpack, much better than the employee. If I grabbed it he wouldn’t be leaving with it. But since he was already leaving, and obviously had gotten busted right away, like Jim said it ain’t worth dying for some store

However…

I’ve seen videos where local law has pretty much broken down where thieves are coming in with sacks and filling them to the brim in front of stunned onlookers. Those anger me past the point of reason. If someone was attempting to do that in the store I shop in that’s less than 2 blocks from my house, I’m probably going to run up and kick that sack into next week and rip whatever TF is in their hands out too. Can always claim self defense if they respond aggressively then

But 1 item from someone who is afraid of getting caught? Pass [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Fun fact: 911 in my city of 2.5mil has a 2-5 minute hold just to get an operator, much less a police response on scene [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
