I'll never understand why people want to mold P99 into something else instead of just seeking out the thing you want that already exists. You have options. The real issue is that people need to reassess that they aren't cut out for P99. If you want a different experience...its being provided. Go to Quarm, EQL, TAKP, EQ Live, or a variety of other projects that are geared towards the experience you want.
Sorry you want hand outs, this isn't the community where you'll find them.

I never understood this either. There are multiple versions of Everquest 1 with instancing already, as you point out.
The vast majority of MMO's out there have instancing as well.
If you want instancing, don't play P99. Let the players who enjoy a non-instanced experience continue to enjoy said experience. Why ruin P99 for the players who like it? It doesn't make sense.

Yeah, it's a common misconception that p99 is for fun- it's a dedicated non-entertaining pursuit to gain 10 BiS toons, at the detriment of your real-life relationships, physical and mental health, and other responsibilities in life. Have a job that doesn't allow remote work? Quit so you can sock raid targets. Got kids / pets / a spouse that requires your attention? Ditch them so you can farm Hate and sell MQs. Jees- Get with it.
You must be an elite gamer with no life to thrive here. How's the saying go?.. Hope that helps.

Going AFK at Stormfeather line requires no effort. You just need an old side computer you can leave in a corner somewhere. Go do your life. You only need to check in on it when Stormfeather is in window. Worst case if you miss your opportunity, just get back in line and go AFK again.
Alternatively, just kill guards whenever you have a spare hour. You will get like ~200pp per hour at a lot of spots. You'll get enough money for the MQ via casual play in no time.
How is this hard?
