I managed to play for 2 hour and got 3 level on my wife account bard!! swap to my main account and POW !!! can not log in again !! and time to work is just comming !! no more extra exp for me!!

I suspect full screen is not the cause since I play in windowed mode and unable to log in.

go here https://github.com/rm-you/p99-login-middlemand/releases

click the p99-login-middlemand.zip file and download it and extract the .exe from within and put it somewhere

do the steps in the Instructions: section of that page to modify your eqhosts.txt file

run p99-login-middlemand.exe that you extracted, you'll see a black box, ignore and minimize that

launch p99 as usual

This is the best explanation yet. I had to pull teeth earlier for the most convoluted explanation possible.

Both of these methods worked for me. Make sure you change your eqhost.txt.

1. Download this: https://github.com/smasherprog/EqToo...5.25.812.1.zip
2. Extract files (I extracted to same folder as my P99 folder, which is downloads)
3. Double click on EQTool which is an application inside the extracted folder that you downloaded--NOT in your P99 folder
4. It opens to a screen that you can fill in some stuff. Browse to where your p99 folder is (probably in downloads). At the bottom, I checked Middleman. YOU DO NOT NEED TO DOWNLOAD MIDDLEMAN FOR THIS TO WORK.
5. Once you click on Middleman, it will ask you if you want to use default eqhost.txt and if you say yes, I am pretty sure you don't have to make any changes to your eqhost.txt. I did anyway to make it look like this: https://github.com/rm-you/p99-login-middlemand/releases
5. Start game as usual
6. Once in game, you can exit out of eqtool application.
7. To turn the red flag off, right click the pig icon and check off “overlay.”

Alternative Proxy login (no pigparse):

1. go here https://github.com/rm-you/p99-login-middlemand/releases
2. scroll to bottom of page and click on the p99-login-middlemand.zip file and download it.
3. extract the .exe from within and put it somewhere
4. change eqhost.txt file to look like this:

Host=localhost:5998
#Host=login.eqemulator.net:5998

If you wanted to revert to logging in without middleman, it should look like this:

[LoginServer]
#Host=localhost:5998
Host=login.eqemulator.net:5998

5. run p99-login-middlemand.exe that you extracted
6. You'll see a black box. ignore and minimize that
6. launch p99 as usual
