Yeah socking fuzzy timers like hate must unlimited DKP. Fairly certain the drop rate is fucking hellishly wrong here on the way too rare side of things and the RMT crews just made it so much worse. Plane of Hate on P99 has always been a nonclassic shit show.


Let pretend that we wanted to revamp epic pieces and make them more accessible. We take reasonably common drops from highly contested raid bosses, Lochness Monsta, CT, Inny, VS and switch them to semi-raid encounters or spawnable 100% drop mobs. Overall with the intention to make these bottleneck items more accessible and common. That was successfully managed with every epic except the mage one, which for some fucking reason they made less common. You implemented it wrong and it's way too late to care about, but it's been one of the glaring errors of this project for years.

People always say that stuff but unironically the last time CSR pulled the figures they found the drop rate wasn't that rare and the farmer that everyone talks shit about was only getting a portion of the drops (i.e. competing guilds have gotten the majority of the earth staffs over time).

The best part is it was last time Shaun had a cry fest in the UN that they pulled the data...shut him up for a year or 2 but here we are again.

I'd be curious to see the data over the past year but iirc the staff is like a 20% drop off the Magi. Pretty sure the emerald is a lot lower percentage but since most minis can drop it it's still easier to get. Book is stupid rare.

1:5 for a raid zone isn't common, which it should be in line with the other epic changes in era. Hate should be printing 2-3 of those staves a week on a 72 hour timer and certainly far more emeralds.
