No viruses.

Please stop lying because you have some nonsensical grudge with me.

We all know you vandalized the game mechanics wiki page and were suspended for it due to this grudge.

For everyone who is not crazy like Cecily, feel free to check out my DPS calculator!

Thanks DSM, I’ll give it a crack my desktop when it’s a bit easier to fill in skill levels and stats.

Any effort to better the community I feel should be celebrated. Especially since people have been asking the same questions for 27 years only to be provided dogma. I’ll take any baseline of consistency that attempts to isolate variables.

Vindi should be a good example for people to try. Plug in your stuff and if it’s +/- 10% that’s good enough to compare weapons, classes, etc.

DSM make a dps calculator that heavily leverages AI and uncovers things we never knew about this game.

No problem! I do need to write up a bit of documentation. The DPS calculator uses mob stats. So when trying to match your Vindi logs to the calculator, the issue of course is we the players don't know most of them offhand.

All of the wiki AC values are wildly off, they appear to be scraped from an out-of-era website.

I did find a great hint in the EQEMU code for how to start figuring out the correct AC for mobs on P99.

There was a comment in the EQEMU code that stated level 50 mobs have ~115 AC or so.

That AC number of 115 works perfectly with Eldrak Howlingbear, who is level 50:

https://youtu.be/tVkVNorTzIQ?is=dwcHNWlsyjqM_xV7

This P99 parse of my monk matches the calculator results nicely using a level 50 mob with 115 AC.

So the scaling checkbox uses this as a base. Mobs gain like 2.1 AC per level with the autoscaling.

For vindi his AC is most likely much higher, so you need to turn off auto scaling and play around with his stats manually. I imagine he probably has at least 200 AC.

The community could use this DPS calculator to estimate the AC for various mobs if we can get enough parses on each mob we want to do this with.

For now, I would stick to Eldrak Howlingbear if you want to do testing, as his values are roughly known.
