Why do people say Quarm has more players?

Quarm is the newest project that was released (not counting THJ being shut down and EQL still being in beta). Just like all classic EQ projects they see a huge pop on release and then tapor off over time. Quarm did have a much larger population when it was fresh and new. Now that it has matured and people probably see less of a future in it given that the main developer is now being paid to work on EQL its fallen off a lot.
