what about ending MQ altogether? just a thought, maybe theres a deep dive thread already about it.
classic or not it definitely goes against the spirit of NO DROP items for quests, if its no drop, then why let another player turn it in for you? why not just make it droppable?

personally i hate MQ and think things would be much more pleasant and fun without it, just my 2 cents but if anyone has any thoughts im curious about the notion.
Ending MQ entirely is a heavy handed change that doesn't reflect the original experience. If there is a way to alter the game so that MQs are impossible it would have the advantage of enforcing it not being required. However, people would find ways to bypass it. E.g. you pay Diddy to log and port your character to Hate if a staff drops so you can loot it.

Banning MQ of high value items from offending camps is relatively easy.
