Have you tried change settings in Display->Advanced->Sky reflection update?

Yes, I have tried several size and interval settings and not only zoning after changing them but completely quitting the game and opening it again. Makes no difference if it's the smallest setting and update once per minute or largest setting and update continuously or any variation between the two.
