I remember wiping on gore 10 times in a row with 70 people, all of the sub-55s had to sit out on a little hill until they were called in midway through the fight because they just couldn't handle the AEs.
well to be honest, Gore is a really tough encounter.

I think I have a screenshot of Kingdom having 150 people in zone during one of their Vulak engages but okay. The hero kite only removes like 15 roles from the sheet? Everyone else is just there to punch the thing.

GG stole my genius shower thought strat of furious disc bumping the vulak guards down with max ATK buffs on ogre warriors with weighted axes. I hope it works, I've waited far too long for someone to actually pursue that strat.
It makes it that much better that you're claiming to be the theorycrafter behind one of the dumbest ideas the server has ever heard

Well yeah, 6 years past the Kunark release when every guild has an army of wizard bots.

But in era, Gore is a tough fight.

They are aggro-linked to Vulak. So You keep fluxing Vulak and carefully maintain the balance so you don't out-aggro the tank and get summoned
Wow, thats like the end-all giga version of guard kite. Sounds super risky tho.

We used to just assign 1 wiz to each guard and run circles in trips. An enchanter or two out in the hall for goalie just in case.

As Crazy pointed out in the most ironic zergy way is that assigning wizard kiters to each guard and the infrastructure of that strat roughly doubles the required engage force which only really works for the zerg guild on each server.

P.S. that's not how the single kiter strat actually works

I randomly thought of it 2 years ago and jokingly mentioned it once in a discord that GG doesn't has access to because I thought it sounded funny. I knew immediately what they were doing when they first tested the strat out during a vulak lockout and I was struck with great joy, for Brad had spread my divine revelation to others as well.

I did end up making a rough timeline of events to math out if it was even possible a few days ago and they have enough time to get a full engage force with a slow team down by the time all of the guards are dead, with only 2 ranger bumps initially and then 6 mages cothing.

Issue is they don't have the people so it's not looking like it's going to happen. I want them to pull it off one time just because it's funny.

GG did a naked bind rush from respawn on Sontalak and won.

Quite entertaining just wave after wave of PCs spawning, landing a couple of melee rounds and dieing just to do the same again.

It worked so fair play.

heres the most horrible strategy:

Lets pull everything possible to the zone line and kill it there. This way everyone in your guild outside of the 10 people who pull regularly will never see the rest of the zone, and only experience the entrance
