Multiclass was already being worked on before THJ was even a thought and it was likely being worked on specifically for what we now know as EQL. THJ devs were nothing but grifters that took other people's thoughts and property for their own personal gain. Effectively they are just squatters.

Yep, expect their new 'game' to be a huge grift. They won't have code from secrets and ailia as a base.
