Someone mentioned tangrin earlier,hes actually very soloable if you have dictate.
You dictate, haste trooper taer. Camp it off
Then you train the tangrin on him and when hes 20% or so you dictate taer and kill. Very simple, fun if your not doing the rest of the epic.
Taer is crazy high mr,will resist alot of the monkey stuns. You can slow tangrin,not sure if its needed.
Warn the zone your pulling the monkey

I tried training tangrin on taer but he stun me from max range pretty much, capped out at like 1% hp.

I tried rapture + boltran, buff and zone then rapture him, invis and start running to train him on tangrin and tangrin didn't aggro him and since Taer already hates you more he won't aggro him either so I was kinda stuck in a stalemate.

So I raptured him again, boltran'ed, sent him on tangrin then gated (I was bound in WW). When I ran back, the gate reset taer and being an aggressive city guard he aggroed tangrin. Dictated at 10% and let him finish it.

It is possible but I gave him -37MR gear + tash and he broke boltran's within seconds on two different attempts. Dude has mad MR, wouldn't be suprised if someone blew through an entire wand of allure and still die trying to get this done. It is not impossible but if there's a smarter/safer way to secure the kill why not.

The few times I've charmed Iksar guards I haven't noticed that they have particularly high MR, maybe I just got lucky.

I think I raptured Taer just to be sure, but then just tash, allure, hasted and torched like normal and charm held for the entire Tangrin fight. And it's not a quick fight, I had to reslow.

First time I toyed with him I didn't know he had natural SOW speed and he resisted all stuns/mez/charm and I ate it. He's level 50, level 50s don't resist like that. People on the wiki seemed to think he was immune to charm/mez so I don't think I got a bad streak. That's why people open with rapture, it is unresistible so no surprises.

I think they weren't as resistant at first so if you've done it a while ago it is possible it was before the change. There's a video of rektyu doing it 3 years ago and he mentions they're super resistant but he still manages to pull it off without a charm break so RNG gonna RNG. Before I gated I was doing fine and I had a wand of allure on me so I could have tried to do it the old fashioned way but I've had a very hard time finding him up so I didn't want to chance wiping and getting it stolen (had that happen before).

Yeah, I tried the just charm hin with allure method and burned a wand in 2 mins. They are extremely high mr,and the train/dictate method isnt bad at all once you've done it a time or 2

Just got VD this weekend and VT two weeks ago so I'm trying to knock out the last few parts I'm missing.

Let's say I wanted to solo essence of a vampire, how possible is it?

Not very familiar with hate either, revenants spawn in a particular area or they're a bit all over?

Plenty of them around the well. Fairly uncommon drop I had to kill at least 10 to get it but maybe I was unlucky. Some enc solo in hate but unless you’ve mastered that zone I would just grab a friend or 2 to get it done. Ideally a cleric bc you’ll probably die at least a few times.

Yeah mostly around the safe spot,if your really unfamiliar you can hire the hate cartel and they'll get you one. They have posts on the trade discord.
Very trio/doable but you need a good puller at least and a parked cleric for the inevitable wipes

Last I checked they charged 15k for it and I'm fine with that since it really isn't a contested camp. I'll farm a bit and check in with them.

I'm trying to get a better idea of what I'd be getting into, not really one for going blind into things and this one has many blind spots to me. On paper it look manageable but so does fear. I actually really enjoy chanter challenges but last time I heard of someone going in there for chanter epic I got an emergency PoHate rescue discord ping. Props to him for trying but I'd rather not be that guy.

You can run north along the wall east of zone in, and up to buildings 10-11-12 on the map on the wiki. That building has a bunch of revenants
