Character currently logged in error

I just had my client crash and I'm unable to login because there's a character currently active. So I've waited about 10min and nothing. I've tried logging into the character select screen of other servers to no avail. I tried a different account and a different error about my IP appeared.

I go back and still can't get back into my character select on the server/account that I was playing when the client crashed while alt tabbing.

Do I just wait longer or do I need to ask for greater assistance?

Edit, seems to be working now I can get back in!

If you /q or hard close your client (like a crash), this will always happen. Usually takes a minute or two to clear.
