I just got my monk to 30. The wiki doesn’t give tons of information. Is flying kick the only skill I should use and level up to maximize my damage? Or is their value in the previously learned attack skills?

Not a monk main so someone correct me if I'm wrong but, there's a few non-flying kick skills that are used in some disciplines for monks later on, like a powerful version of eagle strike or whatever, I have no idea how useful these are but they exist.
But besides that, no I think its just flying kick from here on out, it hits the hardest by quite a lot if I'm not mistaken. | ||

Flying Kick is the best yes, others are now useless, as well as the disciplines associated with them

Monk main here. Flying Kick is the only attack you should use, and yes the other discs for the other skills are broken on p99.

My monk is level 54 and I have tried Thunder kick many times. It feels like it either does nothing or actually make the Flying Kick less powerful. I have seen a Thunder kick for 5 points of damage vs a blue mob. I think the highest Flying Kick I have performed was with the discipline but the probability seems insanely low.

Thunder kick is for announcing to other monk players you're kind of a bad ass.
