Crystal Chitin Shield no longer emits light externally

Not a huge deal, but my crystal chitin shield stopped emitting light. Its been in the past week. I thought maybe some issues with titanium, so I reloaded that plus the patch files.
That didnt take care of it.

I dont even know if I give it to another toon it will emit light or not.

So, maybe the item is bugged, or the toon it is on is bugged in that way.

My toon is on Green server, named Aludaen. The shield in question is in my bank right now.

It's not listed as being one, but note the dynamic light setting at the bottom anyway.

Im not sure exactly what that means. Setting in ALT+O are the same they have been. I tried adjusting things to see if it would come out, maybe oversaturated and didnt display.

Im not sure of a light setting at the bottom. But Ill go back and look.

Meaning, it doesn't show on the list as being a light source. At the bottom of the list, it tells you to check your dynamic lights setting in eqclient.ini if none of them are working. If it's just the one item, are you sure it was a light source?

Yes. It gave off light on the surrounding environment. Its when i got rid of the greater lightstone. Ill check out the list and look into the eqclient.ini and how to do that. I was thinking my video card had issues, but i see others running around glowing, haha. Thank you for your help. Ill update if I find anything

Ok. Checked it and it was indeed true. The light source items also say its not a complete list. I did find my Lodizal Shell Shield on there. I thought it should be brighter, but its at a 15, which means not bright at all. So that part is working. I may give it to another toon to see if it lights up. Just as an added check. The Crystal Chitin Shield was decently bright.

Well, I feel like a big goober right about now. I got the crystal chitin shield same time I got the dark ember weapon.

After a very long time, I got a Skyfury Scimitar.

Thats when the light didnt work anymore.

Well, the Dark Ember actually emitted the light, the shield does not.

I found out because I gave both to my 15 cleric.

Bleh. Im sorry for wasting time on that.

Reminds me of my day job, where a guy called up and said something didnt work. Got there and noticed it was unplugged. I plugged it in. Guy was amazed. How you fix it so fast. I am now that guy................... :P
