They suggested I wait for the next day when the guild leader would be on and see what they decide. So I did. Tricket... how did you manage to catch this" I explained I was just trying to entertain my viewers (maybe a dozen or 20 at the time, i forget. not many) and didnt like sitting in the corner the whole time waiting for mobs to appear. Some sneaky rogue happened to walk by and I thought he was going to the front to pull mobs or something." Abiatharr pulled in another regular at the time - not sure if he was an officer or just a good friend. and we cooked up some plan to expose Bummey and tell Clue their leader was stealing stuff from a joint-raid and telling them the item wasn't there. We let in some of the other guildies in on the plan and set it in motion. So that "Is your server reputation worth" thread appeared and the whole thing exploded. Another thread I think with memes and a letter to Clue came up. It was a (poorly executed) recruitment campaign to see if the people who left Clue wanted to continue to raid under our tag. It got mixed feelings. Some felt it was a slap in the face, others laughed along and joined us. The memes were (mostly) great. Many friends asked me why I stopped streaming after that. I'd come back for a day or two every couple years when P99 itch hit. But I knew I could never match that level of drama, and would have rather had that be what I was known for. Appreciate you all thinking it was a top P99 moment. Wonder what came of Bummey after that. Some say he just re-rolled a new rogue or played an alt and continued on. Others say he quit completely. I'm sure he still lurks these forums occasionally. It's funny how these things play out. I had Clue members blaming me for their guild falling apart - some claim I set the whole thing up to frame Bummey... It was pure luck! and I really didn't know what that book did at the time. It was my 2nd or 3rd time in Hate. Anyways, thanks for the memory. I'm playing Valheim, Diablo2, Divinity, and some other time wasters while anxiously waiting for Monsters and Memories to launch, maybe you'll see me around there. All the best. -T | |||
