This is ultimately it - there is so much pp in ivory and ore that it is a huge opportunity cost to leave Ever/Permafrost for the sake of a paltry 40pp. My character is wearing a pretty much full set of vendor bought plate at this point. That costs like 3.5kpp of untwinked HQ ore money 🤑
