Default Where to go next for druid charm kiting?

Hit 24, done with Gorge Hounds in EK, trying to find a similar place.

I've peeped SK and OT and neither have the mob density / density of animals for charming that EK did and wondering if there's a nice spot to transition to?

Looking at EFP, Mammoths range from 22-26 so that seems bad for now don't want to deal with all the resists / breaks.

It's annoying spiders aren't considered animals, could cruise on crag spiders in EK.

Or am I just kinda stuck with root rotting for awhile?

I recall doing Overthere for a bit, then Iceclad cougars, then GD wolves (I’d drag to dwarves and charm at like 15%, pull away and solo kill), and cave Kodiaks.

Can't you charm dark stalkers and kill crags with them? Crags will only take you to 25-26 though.

Sabertooth grimalkins in LOIO maybe?

Might take you to 28 at which point you can start CT alligator pit IIRC. At 32ish or so you could probably do iceclad cougars to 40.

I think you can start quadding at 34 too.

On my most recent druid I stayed in EK till 28. I think 24-28 I was mostly charming griffennes into crag spiders. Definitely check out CT gator pit at 28; it's a pain in the ass harmony-ing everything in 3 dimensions, but great xp and a good introduction to underwater fighting.

So my beef with OT is just that you can only charm the sabertooth tigers, just a bit of a clunky thing.

I'm not super keen on trying to keep the pet alive, I cruised pretty hard from 14-24 in a couple days with the standard charm kiting stuff--have two monsters battle, break charm, kill both, or if it's lopsided I just charmed another gorge hound to go in again and keep doing that until I can kill 5-6 of them and then med.

I saw recommendations of SK bull elephants but, as far as I can tell there's like two spawn points and it can spawn as a non-bull-elephant which kills it.

Yeah, that's the right approach to charming. Don't be afraid to mix it up a bit, though. You can charm one blue into three greens, for example. Or jump in and tank for a while when the pet hits 10%. Treeform gives you great health regen, especially if you have to med anyway. How twinked are you? A good weapon is one of the most impactful items on a druid; something like guard captain's mallet or oakleaf scimitar plus a little worn haste is super helpful. After that I find gearing for hp/ac a better choice than gearing for wis/mana.

I didn't notice any slowdown at 24 in EK. I charmed there from 18-28 and it was super fast the whole way. Good on you for charming on the druid. You can charm the entire way to 60, and I think it's the most engaging, efficient, and skillful way to play a druid.

The best xp I have maybe ever gotten on p99 is playing a druid in OT. Charm the strongest tiger, pulls mobs to the side, ensnare. I would have 5-7 mobs all lined up at 5% hp and then break the tiger too. Melee them all down and boom, 10% xp at least

Some rhinos on the east side are lower level.
Lake of Ill Omens Tigers and barracudas (near FV zone) might work well.

Everfrost Mammoths would be profitable. Kill the lowbies as well since I think they all share a spawn table.
