Lightbulb Calimony had a different name (Calilimony), icon, and max HP component in the p99 era

Calimony (The spell from Potions of Stinging Wort) is supposed to increase your maximum HP by 300 and that maximum HP component slowly ticks down at 5 per tick (independently of the 2 per tick DoT) until your extra HP is gone.

Currently on P99 it only increases your maximum HP by 100. It overwrites Divine Strength, a buff that literally gives more max HP that Calimony currently does on P99, which makes me think there was a ninja nerf to wort pots' max HP component at some point in P99's history.

It was also called Calilimony prior to 2003, and had a different spell icon (which would've been a strength buff icon) according to the spell's change history https://lucy.allakhazam.com/spellhis...84&source=Live
That site has listed every single change made to every spell that exists in the game since March of 2002, and the only mention of the max HP component being changed also shows what it was changed FROM, which was 300 max HP ticking down to 0, which means that the max HP component existed on the spell prior to march of 2002, so the only way this couldn't be classic is if that component was only added to the spell during Luclin, which I find unlikely.

And, guess what, this spell list from December 12, 2000 has it listed as Calilimony with a strength buff icon: https://web.archive.org/web/20001209...pelllist2.php3

If you look at the original spell data gathered from the original Al`Kabor server that was stuck perpetually in 2002, you can see:
Quote:
UNKNOWN CALC 120 base 300 max 0 attrib Max Hitpoints
Which means initially it gives 300 maximum HP which then slowly lowers back down to zero.

By the way, the reason it shows up as the post-LoY name in the Al'Kabor Lucy page, according to this rad dude on the TAKP forums https://www.takproject.net/forums/in...-to-loy.36921/

I think you're right, it's just newer data - we also have other LoYish things like Temperance.

The spell data was originally stored in a file called spdat.eff then later it was changed to spells_en.txt and eventually spells_us.txt. The TAKP client still has the old spdat.eff file with the misspelled name but the game doesn't load that, it uses spells_en.txt which has the new name in it.

I have a spells_en.txt from PoP beta days (Sept 2002) and it has the old name.
This confirms that the name change from Calilimony to Calimony is not definitely not classic, not that there was any doubt.
