Very early SoL thread "RE: Paladin undead crit log (long)" pertaining to the disc. Trying to find the first post or a reply that contains its logs.

If you don't have combat fury, you SHOULD be getting almost no crits or crips at all. Going an entire holyforge with 0 crippling blows was not abnormal back in 2000 at all. 0 crits though would be very unlikely.
Just sayin'

I'm regards to this, granted it is a 2020 conversation regarding TLP paladins

Niente also says that Crippling Blows from HF require an undead target and I think all paladins know that that is not true (a noticeable benefit of HF are cripples vs live mobs).

See Combat Fury AA

Niente made at last that one mistake in his thoughtful post about how the code works. Is he wrong a both counts? Apparently so. Is Holyforge more beneficial in it's current form, i.e. not working from 55 to 58 and yet providing crippling blows to live mobs from 55 to 115+? Maybe paladins on live will say "leave it alone". While TLP paladins, who keep reliving the 55-60 era, will say "fix the bug". This thread is evidence of the latter.

Trying to ascertain class of Shackle, the half elf positioned underneath Zlandi who crips. Could well be war, and not pal.

Unfortunately, the linked image does not load, so no info on their max hit.

Just thought I would share this... I have yet to get another crippling blow this high, but it shows just how hard the tusk can hit. Before anyone starts with the "a rogue can BS for 1k", please keep in mind that I am just an averagely equipped paladin, wasnt really heavily buffed (str around 120), and just decided to turn on my holyforge discipline while we were fighting down to the mines in chardok....

http://www.nexusofsouls.com/nos-home...s/tuskcrit.jpg

The other hits you see are more normal, maybe even a bit low. I usually hit closer to 200 each time now, with many above 200... sometimes up to 260 when my str is buffed sufficiently.

And the damage bonus is level dependent (I wasnt aware of that when I made my previous post). At level 56, the bonus is 36.

Damn I love this weapon... cant wait to train up in 2H bash once SoL is out.

Thanks for the research.

With the code I committed, the highest crippling I saw was around 600 (with a Fiery Defender), which matches the previous testimonials in this thread.

Can be adjusted if there's an issue (or more research) following next patch.

Fixed, pending update
