It is pretty impressive what their space station is currently accomplishing.

-advances in stem cell research
-new microbial strains

Some amazing space botany, zoology and cell biology projects.

The US is losing the space race to China due to Starship delays and at the center of it... Elon is to blame. Probably why Sean Duffy, has stated that NASA is open to other companies for the Artemis program.

The irony is Elon pulled all that shady backdoor stuff earlier in the year for revenge and shot at info on the plasma electric rocket engine, led by Rosatom and he still has nothing to show for it as his personnel still don't understand the provided information and are now planning on a collaboration.

We really have just a few in power and the uneducated to blame for our falling behind.

The Rosatom plasma rocket is a long distance space rocket, not an Earth launch rocket. They aren't supposed to be better or worse or comparable to each other.

It would be like complaining the Douglas Dauntless carries less payload than a B-17 Flying Fortress

God I hate nasa.

Scientists identified ribose (used in RNA) and – for the first time in any extraterrestrial sample (from asteroid Bennu) – glucose, a major energy source for life.

I'm not a full on believer of dark matter/energy. I seem to recall it was"the absence of radiation compared to what was expected". And that was looking at entire fucking galaxies. I'm more apt to believe our measurements are off. Also, dumbest name ever
