It is pretty impressive what their space station is currently accomplishing.

-advances in stem cell research
-new microbial strains

Some amazing space botany, zoology and cell biology projects.

The US is losing the space race to China due to Starship delays and at the center of it... Elon is to blame. Probably why Sean Duffy, has stated that NASA is open to other companies for the Artemis program.

The irony is Elon pulled all that shady backdoor stuff earlier in the year for revenge and shot at info on the plasma electric rocket engine, led by Rosatom and he still has nothing to show for it as his personnel still don't understand the provided information and are now planning on a collaboration.

We really have just a few in power and the uneducated to blame for our falling behind.
