Yes.

My sister has Celiac's, and she had several symptoms from it but had no idea what the cause was. When she finally discovered she had Celiac's (and could avoid those symptoms by avoiding gluten) it was a great relief for her.
Oh. It helps her buy more corn and corn accessories then?

How deep does this rabbit hole go...

As opposed to eating products with wheat gluten in them, yes.

It's the same as how people who are allergic to peanuts are helped when they don't to eat products with peanuts in them. It's really not a hard concept to grasp.

I saw a meme once that said I wonder how many medieval cooks were killed because a poison tester had a food allergy.

ur unacknowledged and misdirected frustration with our current corporatist dystopia has led you to, whether ironically or not, express callousness toward a person with celiacs

Remember that the concept of sensitivity training itself began as a method for corporations to lubricate western society for the importation of trillions of h1b's and immigrants in order to depress the cost of labor and increase profits.

When I was a kid I used to think E85 was a great compromise so African (everything was about poor hungry africa then) corn farmers could grow food and make bank.
Little did i realise that the kind of corn grown for food was different to fuel corn. So not only were the hungry still hungry, it was only a few people at the top of the chain that actually made big money.

Corn is the victim here. They call them kernels but they are treated like privates.

That non-food corn can still be the best thing for them to produce, because pencils.
