Red face What is your most favorite zone or type of land in EverQuest?

I like deserts. Personally, I like Arica in Chile as a vacation spot even though I've never been there. They call it the city of eternal spring and it has a very dry climate and next to no rain. Someone in real life called me a dry person once. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Freeport is probably closest to that since Arica is a port too but the Iksar also have Field of Bone which is a nice looking desert. (Is there another desert zone in Kunark?)

The Iksar are just way too great not to pick them. Field of Bone would be my favorite zone unless there is another desert in Kunark. Is there?

What zone or type of land do YOU like the most? For example do you like the snowy tundras of the Barbarians? Or do you like dark forests near Neriak? I don't know the locations in this game well because I'm a new player, but let's all admit that EverQuest 1 has by far the best MMO map ever made.

I wish there was a dungeon in East katana, like a scarab cave that would’ve been cool.

But east and North karana are pretty cool to hang out and I think.

Fun to hunt elusive names in north. Fun to just stand around like an npc in east.

Steamfont holds a lot of nostalgia for me. First character on live was a gnome mage. Spent a lot of time in that zone. Afraid to venture far from it. I remember seeing Druids in wolf form kiting around the guards, and would always think they were so cool and powerful. But between akannon. The windmills, the kobalds and mino caves. I'll go with Steamfont.

The zoo in Akananon is pretty awesome.

Yeah Akanon was a blast. I got lost so many times back in the day, and would stumble on so many neat little places.. EQ was so amazing as a kid, i could spend days, weeks. Accomplishing nothing but running around, and exploring.

Crushbone is peak fantasy zone, great atmosphere; slave caves, blood flowing down the walls and pooling in the castle, a classic moat running around the castle. Multiple approaches and zone scales as you move around. 10/10

Greater Faydark by far. Pretty forest. Pretty music. Also why I was so eager for Velious here, so I could get back to spending time in Wakening Lands.

Sebilis, and the surrounding areas like Swamp of No Hope, Trakanons Teeth.

You can feel the lore in the surroundings.

Seb is a damn fine zone. Very classic, but also very kunark! One of the most classic feeling ones from Kunark.

I wish frog city in kunark was a fully functioning city, open world dungeon.

Same with ferries and brownies.

I would love to dive deeper into a zone of brownies through the lesser fay spots

Speaking of cool zones: Lesser Fay.
