New p99 server

I do wish they would do a new one sometime soon. I've never played a Shaman extensively, so I want to main one on the new server.

The most logical time to commit to the end of the server in the progression timeline would be the release date of the next expansion. Looks like from original day 1 release of EQ until shadows of luclin dropped was roughly 2.75 years.

I barely played Velious. Burned out. Left my account with my guild. Came back to a stripped account at end of Velious to play Luclin. I was a rich motherfucker within a few weeks again. Back then, simply playing a lot not only made you rich enough, it also got you in the premiere guilds. Being online = being valuable.

Back when time online meant something completely different from today? I think so.

I would not mind seeing a Vile type pvp server like Crucify. Something where you can pop in for 30 min and get some good pvp, hone your skills etc, with minimal time sink.

Yeah less people were glued to screens back then. Being a 12hr a day person meant a lot.
