I actually don't agree, because the same thing can be said again about healthcare.

"We can divert energy into healing all the sick with what we have now, and wont be risking inventing a new pandemic that kills everyone."

In fact, they said that about nuclear power and what did we get out of it? The same people who stopped nuclear power discovering we're past the point of stopping the alternative from killing the planet.

Build until the builders can leave the naysayers of this planet behind.
