Default So doctor wanted me to get the hep B vaccine

I was like yeah sure I can do that it's probably a good idea to be protected.

But then I did some ancillary googling and I guess it makes you test positive for hepatitis?

Not so sure anymore.

What do you think?

Food and medicine should never be questioned just consumed. No one has ever put things that cause diseases and cancers in food or especially medicine, ever. Stop thinking about it is my advice.

The most disease resistant population is the one that doesnt vaccine, because they are either disease free or dead from said diseases they didnt vaccine from like the fucking Victorian era.

We all have a story of someone that we’ve lost to no vaccines in our lives.

Received any Blood transfusions recently? (likely not) if so the donor's immunoglobulins could cause a problem.

Hmm.. have you had dengue, zika or hepatitis C? (they share epitopes) if so, it could cause a false positive; if they are using serological testings.
There are more advance tests like multiplex assays which are much more accurate but not a very common means of testing.

Have you had any other recent vaccines or a cold or something you have recovered from within the last 6 months?

Since the vaccine prompts the production of HBsAg; surface antigen there are 'rare' cases where people might get a false positive on certain hepatitis tests.

I mean, if you're getting tested soon and are worried about how results might be interpreted, you could mention your vaccination status to your provider; a means of showing you have immunity markers... not infection ones.

I say if you are traveling get the vaccine.

I haven't received fluids of any kind. My doctor thinks I'm gay, don't you think?
