It really depends on the price of the thorn in comparison, they tend to be very efficient in DKP to dps ratio. The whip isnt bad, it’s just not great.

I’m with Cecily, if your brother is a shaman flash of light in slot 1 using a GCD is a lot of aggro. Plus, if you can effectively root something it’s likely the the thorn proc will land for nearly full damage each time. I bet on blue cons the thorn punches above its weight class.

I got a locustlure from a scryer last night and wow it's fun hitting that fast in primary... switch to my Chokidai fang for backstabs. & I'm about a third of the way done with the epic quest. So excited to use that for my secondary.

Theres like 1 weapon setup that may or may not parse better than epic OH.

Save your DKP and your sanity. Weapon swapping is for tools.

And on the otherhand, OP is enjoying mainhanding an 8/17 Locustlure before getting epic and practicing swapping in a 14/29 for backstabs. I'm think my bag of pearls runneth empty.

Got my epic tonight so I will now dual wield with a locustlure in primary and epic in secondary i will report back later in the week if I'm happy with the choice or not

Offhand dmg is <20% of your dps. Unless you need the 41% haste adding the ATK boost to the 80%+ dmg you do is significantly better. RB is also pretty bad mainhand due to the main hand damage bonus impact on faster weapons
