![]() Hey guys! Haven't played in years, was cleaning up my computer and found this old video.
I remember ages ago I was arguing on here that no one really understood weapon swapping, I think it got a little heated [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]. Once I figured out that no one knew what the hell I was talking about, I kept it to myself (mostly). Figured it's time to declassify my knowledge since it really doesn't matter anymore. This mostly applies to LEVELING because I realized and was soon annoyed that once you get max haste and faster weapons it becomes nearly impossible to sustain. But it does make leveling a warrior fun as shiiiiit. So basically, you are taking advantage of the different attack timers on your mainhand and offhand to essentially attack seamlessly with both a 2-hander and your offhand at the same time, with no interruption, continuously, always. So basically, your main hand is a 2-hander and your offhand is a 1-hander, in essence. Pretty broken, but requires so much APM that likely no one would do it except me. You can see what I'm doing with the weapons, turning off attack timer, swapping, turning back on, rinse repeat. My setup for doing it is seen at the bottom. I had to use NVIDIA control panel with the low-latency set to ULTRA to make it possible, otherwise picking up items and moving them was too slow. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fy2DmHlOoUA | ||

![]() Yes, we did it in 1999 (and it was required for Warriors to show they could do it to join our guild), and I've been telling people for years to use weapon swapping when you're not too hasted, if you care about having more DPS.
For Warriors who want to do Solo / Duo / Trio Challenges: Velious + Kunark/Classic World, being able to do this is particularly important.
