i'll admit that, languages do kinda work this way. i assume this sort of thing at scale gradually produces entire dialects and new languages.
nobody said 'for shizzle' until snoop dogg threw it into our brains back in the 90's. i can say 'futanari' and like 75% of people online know what i am talking about, even in the english-speaking community.
anyways, you know what i meant about 'gatekeeping'. 'you must enjoy this thing the same way i enjoy it or you are enjoying it wrong', in essence.
