Memory Could Not Be Read - FAQ Solution Not Working

When you start EQ and are at the login screen, open task manager and try setting eqgame.exe to efficiency mode. One of my boxes needs this set otherwise the core eq is running on might clock itself higher than the 4.2GHz cutoff.

This particular solution did not solve my issue, to this day the only way I can get P99 to open is to load up background programs.

I guess thankfully it's an easy workaround, just bizarre.

Apparently this is deprecated - they patched this failed check/error out a few months ago.
