Yknow what’s really sad about postpartum too, from talking to tons of women over the years who have it for my work

A lot will tell me they are so depressed and miserable they resent their own newborn baby. Like along with that biological motherly bond is a feeling where everything the baby does annoys them

Then it’s like they have the hormonal chemical depression and what they believe is evidence in front of them that they are one of the worst humans alive to hate their baby. It’s a pretty bad perfect storm, at least it’s temporary
